Mission

The museum collects and stores historical monuments in the documentation and dissemination of historical knowledge about Gdynia, from the earliest times to the present, with particular emphasis on the importance of building a modern port and the city during the Second Republic.

Museum disseminates cultural values, artistic and aesthetic sensibility shaped cognitive collections gathered by informing and enabling contact with them.
